Point Pleasant Borough is about 70 miles south of NYC and 65 miles east of Philadelphia, off the Garden State Parkway (Exit 98). NJ Transit provides bus service to the area.

Best Time to Visit

Summer brings beach season and the busiest events calendar. Spring and fall offer milder weather, smaller crowds, and great fishing. Winters are quiet but the river views are stunning.

Good to Know

Beach badges are required at most area beaches in summer. Street parking is available throughout the borough. The boardwalk areas get busy on weekends — arrive early.
